Trust is Earned

It would take time to build trust. Trust is after all earned. And for a relationship that is still brand-new, it's very hard to deal with certain things especially if both of you are miles apart. It is already given i guess to have doubts and all. But as much as i want to get it out of my system, it is just so difficult for me.

I'm trying my best to think of positive thoughts all the time though but my being pessimistic still gets in the way. I know it's not good and if i continue to be like this, then most probably, this relationship I'm having right now won't work out. Nobody wants to have a blooming relationship to just take a halt like that. But everything is not just easy. Hope i would be able to surpass all the trials that I'll go through and actually going through right now. It's really hard but i'll do my best to make things work.

Just Wondering...

It's been days that i didn't have a decent sleep. I would often wake up at dawn between 3:00 to 4:00 o'clock though i don't have difficulty going back to sleep. But i'm just wondering why it has been like that lately. My friends would often kid that perhaps somebody is thinking of me somewhere. Can it be true? Nah, i don't think so.

But anyway, it feels good to think that somebody somewhere is thinking about me. Hehe. I don't owe anyone cash or something so perhaps that somebody is just simply missing me. Wishful thinking...

Scooby-Doo Crayons

I think my son inherited my habit of loving to take photographs of just about anything. Here's what he got lately and this was not the first time. He put his newly-bought crayons on the table and took pictures of it. He also arranged it in a different arrangement. I am not sure though what he was trying to create with that arrangement. But I just let him and what can you say? The boy has potential to be a world known professional photographer, huh? (",)

Crayons all lined up!

I think he was trying to build a house here. What do you think?

Grab A Crab

This is a Chinese that I dined in with my friend last week in celebration of my birthday. Their food are not just delish but affordable too. The only problem that night was, the foods were served in 30 minutes instead of 15 minutes and that's because of the many people that they had to serve that evening. One reason too that we stayed at the outside of the resto is because the inside was already full.

We ordered mostly seafood that evening and thinking about it makes me want to have my share of those seafoods again.

Picture In My Mind

Yes, I have this picture in my mind that I so much wanted to capture but I just don't know how to do it that it would look really nice. I am not a pro and I am just taking pictures as a hobby. It's a good way to relax too. It takes away your stress just by taking photos of nature or anything around you. For those who are into this hobby could surely relate.

Anyway, what I wanted to capture is a beach picture. Like, my son will be walking on the seashore and staring at the sea or looking into the horizon. It's like stolen shot. Or perhaps, he will be playing with the sand. But I know it would be better if I am using a DSLR camera. Well, soon. I still have to save for that one. (",)

Freeway

I talked to a girlfriend earlier and she shared with me that she had already tried driving in the highway once last week. That's when I thought of putting this picture. My fiance' took this photo and this is just one of the many highways or freeways that they have in their state. And perhaps, I will be driving in this highway soon.

Well, looks like it's not at all hard for me since as you can see, there's no traffic or maybe there's no traffic in this time of day, huh? Yeah, probably! But no guts no glory! So, traffic or not, I will be driving in this freeway soon. Watch out for me! LOL.

Tree at the Lake

I have no idea what that tree is but that is located at the lake that is near my fiance's house. He has taken this shot and share with me but I forgot to ask him what that tree is. But it is such a lovely tree, isn't it? It looks like a tree from those horror movies that I saw. Yes, it kind of look creepy with all those leaves hanging but it certainly is beautiful, like it is a work of art. I will ask my fiance' later what kind of tree it is. I do hope I will not forget. Lovely Lake

This is the first time that I've uploaded a photo here that I didn't capture myself. This was taken by my fiance'. This lake was located near his house and he intentionally went there to take photos of the place to share with me. He so wanted for me to see the beauty of his place. Isn't that lovely?

We don't have a lake near our place here in the city and seeing that made me impatient the more to be with my fiance' and so we can see the place together. That would be nice and sweet then, huh? (",)

Tamed Butterflies

This was in a butterfly sanctuary that we visited during my son's school field trip last year. We were all in awe with the butterflies. They were so tamed! There were a lot of them who landed not just on my arms but also on my shirt and it kind of scared me at first but got over it eventually.

Look at that! The butterfly liked me! (",)

Aren't they pretty? My son was in awe too!

Dark Clouds

It was around 2 o'clock in the afternoon when the clouds began to get dark. So dark that I had to turn on the lights at our home office. I thought the rain would pour really hard any minute but much to my dismay, it didn't. It's about two hours now after that, it's still gloomy but the dark clouds seemed to disappear. Where did they go? Did I scare them away? LOL.

It's been hot since this morning and I so wanted it to rain but oh well. I was going to take photos of the dark clouds but unfortunately, I haven't charged my digital camera. Duh! Maybe I will get another chance next time. But of course, there will be more dark clouds coming soon because we are now having our rainy season. So watch our for me, dark clouds! (",)

A Moon Shared

It's not the full moon but it's one of the special photos my fiance' had taken because he had taken this one night during his 16 day vacation here in our place to be with me. And we were together when he took this photo. He's such a romantic man and sharing a full moon with me is one of his dreams. We weren't able to make it when he was here because it was not the time of the full moon. This was the closest we got. But we do look forward to sharing a full moon one day. Then we can both transform into wolves together then. LOL.

Picture of Him

Not literally a picture or a photo but a picture of him in my mind. I've been thinking about my fiance' this afternoon. I'm home alone and whenever I'm in this kind of scenario, what comes next is daydreaming. I do daydream a lot when I'm alone. LOL. But they always are happy thoughts. No sad thoughts when I'm alone because for sure, I would end up feeling empty which I don't want to happen. I am happy now and my fiance' is one of the reasons why. Am I being cheesy?

Anyway, back to the picture. What I am picturing out is us having snacks. It's 4 o'clock and I was supposed to have my snack an hour ago but due to my online tasks, I forgot to do so even though my pets have been reminding me since an hour ago. Hehe. But anyway, it's never yet too late. Wish my fiance' was here with me so we can share a glass of my favorite chocolate drink and talk silly things like we always do. Hehe. Missing my bunny!

Pink

This was the plate that was handed to me by my SIL when we celebrated her daughter, my niece's first month birthday. The color and the simple design of the plate caught my attention instantly. It's simple yet nice. Don't you agree with me? I never thought that the combination of the colors green, blue and pink would look great. That gave me an idea of a wedding motif. What do you think? Admirable Photographer

His mom and my mom are good friends and were classmates in grade and high school. They never lost contact ever since. Because of that, their family are always present whenever we have special gatherings here at home. I remember him as a naughty boy when he was young. I think I am five years older than him. I never thought he would grow such a fine and responsible young man. Their dad passed away about three years ago and since then, he became like the father of the family, taking care of his mom as well as his three younger brothers.

I never knew he's into photography until about a year ago, and he got the talent. Just today, he invited me to be a fan of his photography website and though I had seen his works before, still, what I've seen on his website today awed me. He's really good in what he's doing.

He will be the official photography of my brother's wedding in November and knowing that he's in charge gives us no doubt that the pictures will be great. I can't wait for my photograph. LOL.

Biggest Butterfly Seen

This beautiful creature landed at my uncle's garden a few months back. It measured about 14 inches in height and 20 inches in width. So big for an insect that we normally see as small and cute. It did surprise them and the butterfly was so tame. That's why they were able to take this picture. But it did fly after a while and was never seen again.

Isn't it lovely?

Talented Photographers

I know a few people who have made photography not just a hobby but their source of living too. It all started in a hobby and today, they are making good money out of that hobby which is really great because the most important thing to succeed is to enjoy what you're doing.

A family friend named Apple only started with a digicam and figured that it's what he likes doing so he started with attending seminars and trainings for photography and now, his small business is starting to make big or maybe already big. One of his clients is the ever famous boxing hero, Manny "Pacman" Pacquio. Isn't that awesome? He always posts his works on his Facebook account and they're just amazing. I never thought how good he has become.

Those kind of works inspires me to do what I like doing too. And yes, I like taking pictures of just about anything. But I do know I still have a lot to know and learn, photography wise. I'm just enjoying myself now and taking pictures of just about anything with my Olympus Digital Camera - a gift from my fiance. I have this goal of buying myself a Canon DSLR camera soon though and I can't wait for my first shot of that cam.

Green House

Literally not the kind of green house that you know but it can still be considered a green house because its color is green. I think I am kind of making sense, huh? These are the walls in our patio or basically, the front of the house. It was previously colored plain white but mom decided a bolder color for a change. So, she chose green when it was repainted last year. One of the reasons behind too is for it to match the color of the roof.

The borders were colored tan to contrast the color of the walls and it appeared great! Don't you think so?

Clouds' Beauty

Among other things, it is perhaps the clouds that is the most photographed. That's for me though because I really love taking pictures of them whether they're dark or not. But I did see a lot of pictures of clouds that are really beautiful and that's when my liking for taking snap shots of the clouds started.

The picture below is, I guess, the first photos I have of them but definitely not the only photos. The clouds were starting to get darker here but it didn't get darker than that. That was a gloomy day and we thought it's going to rain but the clouds must have changed their mind. Hehe.

Starting to get a little darker here.

Much darker here now.

Serenity

Defined as the state or quality of being serene... this picture definitely describes it. Just looking at this picture which I took during one of our beach trips with the family really relaxes me. It makes me feel like I am actually in that spot where I had taken the photo. I can even feel the wind and the ocean breeze that is so fresh and soothing. Do you feel the same way? Maybe you don't for you weren't there. But if you are a beach person, then you would know.

Haven't gone to the beach for a while now and this photo gives me the itch to get to the beach pronto! (",)

Picture Perfect

I've always loved taking photos of just about everything and that includes not just human beings but everything around me that I feel like taking pictures of - be it living things like flowers, animals but also non-living things which definitely covers a broad variety and I wouldn't just enumerate them one by one for the space here won't be enough, I think. Hehe.

Anyway, that being said, it's probably obvious already on why I came up with this blog. I'll be posting here the photographs that I've taken. I'm not a good photographer. I know that and I still consider myself a newbie so, please bear with those photos. I do want to learn about photography since I'm really interested in it. Maybe in time but I'm already checking for those photography tips and ideas that could at least help me or give me hints on how to capture the best picture.

So, see you on my next post. And for sure, you'll be seeing a photo already. (",)
